In a perfect world one of the greatest sit-coms in America's history simply wouldn't have been cancelled. But in a perfect world there would probably be no humour in Arrested Develpoment anyway. Luckilly we live in quite an odd world, where the popularity of a television series can reach a peak long after the show was cancelled. We live in a world where Michael Cera becomes a sex symbol, where teen-wolf Jason Bateman becomes the respected actor because of Juno and Will Arnett gets given the opportunity to star in a bunch of his own comedies. This is indeed an odd world, that these elite misfits along with Mitch Hurwitz and the rest of the cast and crew get to make a full length feature film of the most well respected, critically acclaimed, spectacular failures of a sit-com ever made.
